Is finance a good major now that the American economy is experiencing a recession?

Would it be wise to major in finance if the american economy is heading towards a huge slump…especially since the euro dollar is kicking our a*s*s?

    Finance is okay but I’d go for the more fundamental degree of Economics. You can go in more directions after it.

    Study finance when the economy is bad. Most people do it the opposite way. Just about when the studying is done, the economy turns sour and they can’t get a job. You should time it just right if you start studying now.
    Can you feel it inside that you are someday going to be super-rich?

    Not many jobs are recession safe. Go for it, its just as competitive as about everything else is.
